We have had this seat for about 7 months now, and we are probably getting close to retiring it. That being said, the seat is still available via Amazon and a few other retailers, so I will still take the time to review it.
We received this item as a gift from my wonderful mother. Initially, we were looking at getting the Fisher-Price Snugabunny play gym, but when my mother surprised us with this, I couldn’t say no. We’ve had it for a few months now, and I felt it was time to give it a review.
With spring upon us (more or less), and Easter coming up quickly, I thought it was time I shared some Easter goodies. I love recipes that I can do with my son, and each and every one of these gems is doable with your kids help, AND will still look impressive at a gathering, at least in a fun sort of way.
Two days ago, my little Evie’s brand new Da Vinci crib arrived. Being a (relatively) frugal mother, I wanted to skip the bassinet stage and go right to a crib. I figured something she’d only be in a short time would be a waste of money. When I received one from my mother as a gift, I didn’t refuse it. Truly, the little bassinet that we have has been wonderful, as it has allowed her to see me through the little mesh panel on the side, thus calming her. She has been sleeping through the night most nights for a few weeks now…. that being said, it has come time to move on.
Some fun recipe ideas for St. Patrick’s Day.
For the shake:
- 2 cups of French Vanilla -or – White Chocolate Ice Cream
- 1 cup of Milk
- 1/4 tsp of Peppermint Extract
- 1/4 tsp of Green Food Coloring
- *optional: 1/2 to 1 oz of Whiskey
- 2 Tbsp Hot Fudge -or- Chocolate Syrup
- Whipped Cream
- Chocolate Chips -or- Sprinkles
Blend up the ice cream, milk, peppermint extract, and food coloring. Swirl a tbsp of fudge in the bottom of the glass. Top with whipped cream, fudge, and sprinkles and enjoy! You can just do mint ice cream and milk, but this way gives a stronger flavor. Whiskey can be added for a grown-up version of this beverage. 😉
